tips for a better life :))

·        Take 10-30 minutes walk everyday and while you walk, smile.

·        Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.

·        Sleep for 7 hours.

·        Live with 3 E’s–Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.

·        Play more games.

·        Read more books than you did in 2009.

·        Make time to practice meditation, Yoga, and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.

·        Spend time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.

·        Dream more whole you are awake.

·        Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.

·        Drink plenty of water.

·        Try to make at least three people smile each day.

·        Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip.

·        Forget issues of the past. Don’t remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.

·        Don’t have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

·        Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.

·        Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a beggar.

·        Smile and laugh more.

·        Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don’t hate others.

·        Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

·        You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

·        Make peace with your past so it won’t spoil the present.

·        Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about. Don’t compare your partners with others.

·        No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

·        Forgive everyone for everything.

·        What other people think of you is none of your business.

·        GOD!! Heals everything.

·        However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

·        Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.

·        Get of rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful or joyful.

·        Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

·        The best is yet to come.

·        No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

·        Do the right thing!

·        Call your family often.

·        Your inner most is always happy. So be happy.

·        Each day give something good to others.

·        Don’t overdo. Keep your limits.

·        When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it.

my unforgettable Camp Blog experience

red___kiiu!

Camp blog is almost over, today is our 5th day seminar here at VSU.I felt very happy cause the fact that we’re going home sooner or later.

5th day here were full of lessons which I considered my unforgettable experiences. They taught me new discoveries, like our very first day here, where in Mr.Jose Torres discussed about online writing and asked something in regards with his lectures that was difficult to be answered for me such as “Why Am I writing?”etc, the 2nd thing how to create a blog site which it took hard also for us to do so,how to beautify or edit our personal and school blog sites, how to add articles on it,and how to make a masthead.

At this point,Mr.Jimmy Dominggo had a lecture then taught us how to take a picture with content, message and style, afterwards we went to the Baybay, public market to take some pictures regarding to our given theme which is “meat”.

It was a fun-filled days here, they taught me a lot of great things, even though it was a very tiring day after all but I treasured all the memories here, cause this opportunity will never gonna come back, and Im so thankful that I became part of this workshop or campblog’11.

What I learned from the multimedia modules and fieldwork

Since it was our 4th day seminar here at VSU,I learned something different. It is not about the blogs, the online school papers, not even about the computer but it is about the beauty of Photography.

We started to study our modules which gives us a hint of what a Photojournalism really is.As we went on reading,we realized that taking pictures is not that easy,as what we’d learn before, because you have to deliver it in a good quality and detailed caption.

Then we had a lecture with Mr.Jimmy Dominggo about additional information on Photojournalism. He told us about the ISO and ASA which means light sensitivity rating, the tecniques in taking some photos like the exposure, flash, depth of field, composition and framing and capturing decisive moments. Then, lastly he gave us another hints on how to take a picture with the power of expressions, the content, style and specially message.

Insights in converting our work into electronic form.

As what i’ve learned from converting our work into electronic form,i found out that online newspaper would be more easier than printed. It also help us track our mistakes by criticising, and by that we tried our very best to improve it or beautify it through editing.

It maybe difficult at the beginning that drove us,specially me to think that quitting is the only way to escape from this tiring, boring day whatever…that I considered at the first place.Yet I realized that it would be fun if we’re really working it heartedly.

What I learn from the self study modules?

What I learn from the self study modules?

I learned the differences and the similarities of print and on line newspapers. The similarities, they both informed and entertained, inverted pyramid, had a meaningful headlines/ subheads, good lead etc.while the differences are static vs interactive, structured vs. conversational informal, text and images vs. multi media content.

At this very momentous point,I learn how to make a blog site in which,im a very impassive and I also learn whats the advantages of on line writing,(1) reach more audiences,(2) incorporate interactivity that involves the reader,(3)provide access to relate information through out round links, and (4) get instant feedbacks. But most of there topics.this G.S.P acronyms  really catches my attention,in fact I have no ideas what does it really means, nevertheless as far as read the more I got the meaning, its simply means Grammar,Spelling and Punctuation.

What I learned from the lecture on online newspapers

I learned a lot of things from the lecturer some what;

to be honest, write only the things that where in your capable enough, do not overdo, discard those unnecessary things,we should be direct to the point but not “pilosopo” In order to become a good writer we must face the following criticisms cause facing those such painful words is the only way to become a strong hearted person, and specially to learn how to accept our mistakes.
The most crucial part is to ask ourselves, why were writing ?,for whom were writing?,about what were writing?.isn’t it difficult, right?.but I simply answered that I’am writing in order to share my opinions involving in our society,i am writing to let others know the current issues.
It was a very exciting yet shiviring day to be lectured by Mr.Jose A.Torres Nevertheless it helps us toimproved our writing skills after all.
